Which SodaStream cylinder do I need?
The cylinder you need depends on the type of SodaStream machine you have.
Gas Guyz currently offers different soda gas cylinders for different machines:
- Yellow cylinder – 400g CO₂: Compatible with soda machines that use screw-on cylinders, similar to SodaStream's blue cylinders and SodaKing's orange cylinders.
- Pink cylinder – 450g CO₂: Compatible with SodaStream machines that use the pink quick-connect and initiated by pressing and holding the button on top of the soda machine.
- E-Terra pink cylinder – 450g CO₂: Designed specifically for SodaStream E-Terra machines that are the automatic one-touch preset carbonation levels.
Always check which cylinder your machine uses before placing your order.
What is the E-Terra pink cylinder?
The E-Terra pink cylinder is a 450g CO₂ cylinder specifically designed to fit SodaStream E-Terra machines.
It is only compatible with SodaStream E-Terra machines and will not work with standard screw-in machines.
Can I use the standard pink cylinder in an E-Terra machine?
No. The standard pink Soda Gas Swap is not compatible with SodaStream E-Terra machines.
If you have an E-Terra machine, select the E-Terra Compatible Pink Cylinder.
What if I order the wrong soda gas cylinder?
It is important to check your machine and cylinder connection before ordering. If you are unsure which cylinder you need, contact Gas Guyz before placing your order.
Do I need to have an empty cylinder to order a soda gas swap?
Yes. A gas swap is an exchange service, so you will need to leave your empty compatible cylinder out for collection.
If you don't have a bottle, you can purchase a new cylinder with gas instead.
Where should I leave my empty soda gas cylinder?
Once you have placed your order, leave your empty cylinder somewhere accessible to our driver, such as your front porch or another safe and accessible location.
When will my soda gas swap be delivered?
Orders placed before midnight are delivered the following business day Mon-Fri.
Simply leave your empty cylinder out for collection and Gas Guyz will exchange it for a full soda gas cylinder.
